OGC Nice has officially announced the signing of Martin Ponsot, a 17-year-old goalkeeper who joins the French club after a successful season with the U19 Nationaux. The young Drômois has signed his first professional contract with OGC Nice, a club he joined in 2024 after being trained at US Pont La Roche and then Olympique de Valence. Martin Ponsot has confirmed the potential that the Gym saw in him to come and get him in the Drôme. And with this signing, he becomes the club's latest hope for the goalkeeper position. Julien Sablé, the director of the Niçois training center, indicated that Martin has shown a lot of maturity since his arrival. So it's now time for him to continue his development with the same rigor. Martin Ponsot played six matches with the U19 Nationaux and achieved three clean sheets. He will wear the number 60 if the presentation photos are to be believed. The young goalkeeper said that signing his first professional contract with OGC Nice is an immense pride. But he knows it's just the beginning of his adventure with the Niçois club.
