OGC Nice has set the first steps of the summer preparation before the start of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season. July 8th will mark the beginning of the summer preparation. The players will return to the training center a month and a half before the start of the Ligue 1 season, scheduled for the weekend of August 21, 22, and 23 with the reception of FC Lorient at the Allianz Riviera.
What is the preparation schedule?
The first preparation match will take place on July 18th. Olivier Pantaloni's men will face Nîmes Olympique at the Gym training center. The match will start at 6 pm and will also be played behind closed doors.

This preparation will mark the debut of Olivier Pantaloni on the OGC Nice bench. Recently arrived from FC Lorient, the new coach succeeds Claude Puel and will lead his first official preparation matches during the summer.
